CRIME STOPPERS REWARD OFFERED FOR ROBBERY SUSPECT

SOMERVILLE - Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne J. Forrest, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of Detectives Stuart Buckman and Bound Brook Acting Chief of Police Michael Jannone announced that detectives are still actively looking for Franklin D. Allen, age 30 of South 13th Avenue in Manville, New Jersey. Defendant Allen has been charged with second degree Robbery.

Douglas W. Kimmelman, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, has announced that a reward of $250.00 has been offered for information regarding his whereabouts.

Prosecutor Forrest stated that on November 6, 2009 defendant Allen accompanied defendants Noel B. Brown, age 20, West Somerset Street and Jedrick Dennis, age 29, West Cliff Street during the attempted robbery of a gas station attendant at the Sunoco gas station located on West Union Avenue in Bound Brook.

Defendant Allen also has an active Somerset County Warrant for Contempt of Court which was issued in October 2009 on an unrelated matter. Defendant Allen is a white male, 6 feet tall, and weighs approximately 185 pounds.
