Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, Inc. is a New Jersey non-profit corporation
organized to qualify as a public charity under Section 501( c ) (3) of
the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
Crime Stoppers is a multi-purpose organization designed to do the following:
- Enlist private citizens to
assist law enforcement agencies in Somerset County;
- Provide Rewards for those citizens
who disclose information about specific crimes;
- Inform the public, including
our school children, how they can help fight crime;
- Provide funding for scholarships
in support of police training and grants needed
for crime lab equipment and other items;
- Recognize the achievements
of law enforcement personnel.
The Corporation works in partnership
with the Somerset County community, the media and
law enforcement agencies. Its success in "Working
Together to Solve Crime" depends on you, the
private citizen and the support you provide.

Stoppers International. Membership
in this worldwide network enables
Crime Stoppers of Somerset County
to participate in an international
forum established to provide leadership
and training, and foster cooperation
and the exchange of information
between Crime Stopper programs
around the world.
